Visits to the Most Powerful WWI Sites

Hertfordshire and Proud

Our logo proudly shows our Hertfordshire roots; the Hertfordshire Regiment had a significant impact on the Western Front during the First World War, particularly in the bravery and sacrifice shown on the first day of the 3rd Battle of Ypres (often known as the Battle of Passchendaele).

Pictured: James and Sean at Soldier's Corner, a WW1 plot in Hatfield Road Cemetery, St.Albans, maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

INCLUSIVITY STATEMENT

At The History Boys, our tours are designed for everyone. The name is a nod to the classic play and film as well as our nickname in schools we worked at together; our focus is on making history engaging and accessible for all of our groups, whatever their age.

With nearly 40 years experience of teaching in mixed schools, we create tours that are inclusive, welcoming, and tailored to inspire curiosity and knowledge in every learner.
